Can you really do my bookkeeping remotely?
Yes. QuickBooks Online is cloud-based, so I can work in your company file from South Windsor while you run your business anywhere in the United States. We stay in touch by email, phone, or video call, and you share documents using a method we agree on during onboarding.
Do I need to use QuickBooks Online?
My work centers on QuickBooks Online. If you use different software, mention it when you get in touch. We can talk about whether I’m the right fit, or whether moving to QuickBooks Online makes sense for your business.
My books are months behind. Can you help?
Yes—that’s what cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping is for. I’ll review your existing records, then give you a custom quote based on how many months are involved and what condition the records are in.
How much does bookkeeping cost?
Monthly bookkeeping starts at $300 per month for one business with up to 100 transactions and up to two bank or credit-card accounts. Your final price depends on transaction volume, complexity, and scope. Cleanup, setup, and payroll work are quoted separately. See full pricing details.
What happens during onboarding?
After we agree on scope and terms, you invite me to your QuickBooks Online company as a user or accountant, and we gather the statements and documents needed to start. I’ll ask a few questions about how your business operates so transactions are categorized the way that makes sense for you.
Do you need my bank passwords?
No. Please never share bank or credit-card passwords. Access is handled through QuickBooks user invitations and bank connections that you authorize yourself, or through statements you download and share.
Will you work with my tax preparer?
Yes. I keep your records organized and can provide reports and answer bookkeeping questions for your CPA or tax preparer. I don’t prepare tax returns or give tax advice—those stay with your tax professional.
Can we meet in person?
Gillani Bookkeeping Services is a remote practice. I’m based in South Windsor, Connecticut, and work with clients by phone, email, and video call.
